Metsulfuron Methyl 20% WP

a selective, systemic herbicide belonging to the sulfonylurea group, designed for the effective control of a wide range of susceptible broad-leaved weeds in crops. It is absorbed mainly through the foliage and roots of weeds and is translocated within the plant, where it inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS/AHAS) enzyme, disrupting the production of essential amino acids and stopping weed growth.

The product is particularly effective when applied to young, actively growing weeds. After application, susceptible weeds gradually stop growing, followed by visible symptoms and eventual suppression. By controlling competing weeds, Metsulfuron Methyl helps crops utilize available water, nutrients, sunlight and growing space more efficiently.
